When I was a lad in the 1970's we had one football kit for school and the rest of the time it was a DIY kit made to play in the street. Shorts and a T Shirt in the right colours and if you were really lucky a sewn on badge. Alfies Kits reflect that time most of the "kits" made by his mum are retro, in the style of the 70s and 80s. They have a nostalgic feel back when kids played out in the street and there was not a lot of money about. Kids announcing which players they were, be it Dalglish, Keegan or Hughes and most of the time was spent arguing which player was the best!
I have made retro versions for Alfie for most of the 2022-24 premiership and the national teams. I will add other teams and kits over time too. My kits will be free from sponsors and manufacturer (as these are mad by mum or gran!) and just capture the retro look.

Rosebuds Kits, the women's football game is kicking off! With that amazing Euro final win in 2022 and coming 2nd in the World Cup in 23 the women have shown they are a force to be reckoned with. Now creating a retro feel to the images is difficult as several of the teams are new and don't go back to my childhood days. The WSL (women's super league) only has 12 teams and I'm sure in time will expand I will try to create versions of each team and of course the national sides too. My Rosebud Kits pictures try to capture the retro feel for the newer kits.
The original drawings of Alfie and Rosebud are part of their series and are both called He or She Shoots... the kits were drawn over the drawing digitally by myself using iPad Pro2. So there are no originals for sale just prints.
Of course these are not official products or directly affiliated with any team. 

In the next few months I hope to be able to do customised one offs as well.
