Sometimes ideas for pictures come from out of the blue...
Alfie & Rosebuds Football Kits, Game On!, England Winners. This is the first Duo of my kids drawings that I’ve done, I have combined 2 of my previous drawings to make one new picture. The idea came to me when I was designing graphics for my new website theStreetArtist.co.uk which is now live but not 100% complete so please excuse the mess! This was going to be a page header for the Alfie & Rosebud Kits section but I liked the idea so much I decided to work it in to a new picture. It combines both winning kits from the mens and women’s game from the last 60 years! This kit fits in perfectly with the style of kit I’m trying to recreate with this series, a simple kit that dosent need fancy graphics or logos all over something your mum or gran could make you when you were a kid.
